Sales ManagerJay Feder Jewelers is a 2nd generation family-owned and operated company. The company started in Denver, CO, and is expanding to Boca Raton, FL. We are seeking a professional, highly motivated, enthusiastic sales manager to become an important part of our team. This is a great opportunity to develop a long term career with a growing company. We have very high standards and are very selective, but will provide the right individuals with paid on the job training.Responsibilities:Drive sales team to consistently achieve or exceed sales targets.Understand and monitor store goals, sending sales-to-date report daily.Forecast sales numbers weekly based on appointments and other sales activities.Develop a strong knowledge of the business and assess local market opportunities, partnerships and lead opportunities.Actively promote networking activities including client events.Develop and maintain customer loyalty and marketing programs.Oversee social media properties.Manage and develop:Motivate and support the overall sales staff.Regularly conduct team meetings, ensuring that staff is aware of current goals and areas of focus.Track and manage CRM reporting on daily basis.Manage administrative and HR tasks.Actively recruit and maintain talent pipeline.Lead the performance management process through regularly scheduled individual meetings.Assess potential and propose development opportunities.Responsible for creating a positive and united work environment amongst all staff.Ensure exceptional client experience and develop client relationships:Model luxury experience behavior, and ensure that the team is consistently providing an exceptional client experience.Responsible for leading and assisting employees to successfully achieve business and personal goals. Ongoing status and tracking of progress towards goals.Store Operations:Work daily with sales people to evaluate and assist in the selling process. Monitor appointments and opportunities.Set schedule for sales staff.Control operating expenses in order to optimize controllable costs.Assist new clients if staff is busy.Assist staff in daily set up and break down of boutique for opening/closing, as needed.Knowledge and compliance:Possess deep understanding and knowledge of luxury brand industry.Understand and comply with the stores security and operational procedures.Possess a full understanding of the relevant marketplace and client demographic.Uphold the brand’s image by maintaining professional demeanor at all times and be an Ambassador for the Brand. Be able to convey the brand’s heritage and values.Requirements:Proven ability to generate sales with engaging presentation and communication skillsGood organizational and communication skills.Computer literacyExcellent knowledge of company’s product and philosophyAbility to develop relationships with customers, associates and managementGood understanding of fashion trends and luxury industryAbility to work weekends and holidays.Ability to travel independently on an occasional basis.Strong references required.
