South Florida ad agency is seeking a Media Director to run department and manage client relationships. This role will oversee a team of integrated media professionals who plan media strategy across all media channels (traditional and digital). The Media Director will establish strategic tactical direction for client’s business objectives and understand all aspects of the media marketplace. The candidate must have excellent rapport with clients and have extremely strong presentations skills. Management skills in managing, motivating and mentoring a team. Hands on experience in contract negotiations, operations of an agency, Highly developed management skills are essential for this role · 7+ years in a management role· Meeting with senior leaders to understand and facilitate client, agency and business requests.· Understanding of client/agency finance process; client billing and employee hours/pacing against business scope.· Must follow all agency process to support/push continued adherence to facilitate workflow and manage expectations. · 12-15+ years media planning experience· Must have a strong understanding of the digital marketplace with regard to rates, digital buying models, negotiation and contract execution.This agency has a solid reputation and is a leader in the industry.
