Here’s what your duties will include:Document and maintain technical security standards to assist in the delivery of effective security across operations.Contribute to the development of the security engineering roadmap of the security infrastructureCollaborate and provide input to security teams in the areas of Risk Management, Compliance, and Incident Response to establish and enforce security policies for all system security controls.Contribute to the development of the network security engineering roadmap of the companies telecom and network infrastructureAssist with the investigation of incidentsDesired Skills and ExperienceMust have knowledge of penetration testing and vulnerability assessment toolsWorking knowledge of scripting languages for data extraction and analysis. CISSP or SANS GIAC certified desirable Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Security or related field.Minimum of 4-5 (could be concurrent) years of experience in networking technologies including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN, Wireless Networking, Routing, Switching, Firewalls, IPv4/v6, and administration of routers and switches.Expert knowledge with security concepts and technologies such as stateful inspection, packet filtering, 802.1x, Firewalls (Cisco ASA, Palo Alto preferred), Web Application Firewalls, Intrusion Detection and Prevention systems (Cisco, Palo Alto, Snort preferred), Proxy technologies, load-balancing technologies, network security monitoring, traffic analysis, Distributed Denial of Service Threats and other security vulnerabilities and risk mitigation strategies.Expert knowledge of network security technology solutions including Virtual Private Networks, and IPSEC with two-factor authentication.Experience with Security Information and Event Management Systems (SIEM) and log management systems.
