Description FTDÂ Job Title: Procurement Coordinator, Cut FlowersDepartment: SCO-Other ProcurementLocation: Miami, FLAÂ Â Purpose of Position: The Procurement Coordinator, Cut Flowers works as part of the Cut Flower Sourcing and Procurement team to coordinate successful company-wide execution of floral procurement goals and strategies. Emphasis is placed on managing execution of procurement fundamentals across the floral supply chain, including approval, reconciliation, and logging of all supplier invoices, monthly management reporting of all cut flower spend, development and achievement of supplier operational metrics, reporting and debiting of all supplier rejections, and coordination of receiving activities with the DC network. Also manages process for on-boarding new suppliers as needed to address company supply plans. Â Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Receive and process supplier invoices and approve for paymentVerify that supplier invoiced amounts match system quantities and match inspection outcomes at the company DCsBuild strong working relationship with finance teams including accounts payable, accounting, and treasuryPublish monthly report detailing floral spend by supplier and showing progression from initial invoice amount to final payment transfer net of rejections and credits. Build strong working relationships with suppliers in order to foster continuous improvement and performance that meets supplier metricsHold suppliers accountable for meeting required goals for on-time delivery, fulfillment rate, product freshness, and product labelingMaintain pricing database for assigned suppliers and verify correct pricing of all purchase ordersAct as team coordinator representative for setting up new suppliers and make sure all new suppliers are familiar with company procurement requirementsAssist DCs with receiving issues including PO or shipment quantity or sku adjustments where necessaryAssist tracking of inventory of certain floral accessories at multiple farm locationsÂ Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Attention to detail, with strong organization skills and ability to manage multiple, diverse, and concurrent projectsDrive for results; proven ability to meet deadlinesAbility to identify need for change and manage changes across multiple processes and workgroupsAbility to take seemingly unrelated tasks and weave them into a cohesive processStrong analytical skills; ability to interpret and use data to improve procurement fundamentals or customer experienceStrong communication skills including the ability to have positive interactions with co-workers. Strong knowledge of cut flower industry including major growers, importers, and wholesalers Minimum of 2-year Associate degree.Â History of increasing responsibility and success in work experienceExcellent communication skills, with fluency in Spanish highly desiredSome travel may be required (less than 10%), including international travel
