We are seeking a Customer Service - Assistant Manager Trainee to join our team! You will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities of the Customer Service, Showroom Sales and Warehouse team. You must have a reliable vehicle for travel to the West Palm Beach, Delray Beach and Pompano locations as part of your regular duties. Some travel for training to the other D&B Tile locations may be necessary.Responsibilities:Able to perform the Customer Service and Showroom Sales duties (training will be provided)Knowledge of the warehouse duties (training will be provided)Assist the Branch Manager with the daily schedule for shift personnel to ensure optimal efficiencyTrain and evaluate employeesTrack monthly results and trends with the Branch Manager for business forecastingResolve escalated customer complaintsQualifications:Previous experience in retail, customer service, or other related fieldsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environmentExcellent written and communication skillsStrong leadership qualitiesBasic Microsoft Office (Excel, Work and Outlook) experienceA high school diploma or G.E.D. is required. You must be able to demonstrate team leadership and leverage interpersonal skills with individual team members to maintain a positive atmosphere focused on business results. Minimum 2 years of assistant management or supervisor experience required. You must be customer service focused and able to interact professionally and effectively through both verbal and written communication with everyone whom you come into contact. The ability to establish priorities, work independently and proceed with objective without supervision while collaborating with the team goals. Leadership and mentoring of staff is a must.
