ALSO NAPLES FL AND TAMPA FLDuring a construction project, the Superintendent works closely with the Project Manager, the General Contractor, and trade contractors in order to complete construction on time, under budget, and exceed the customer’s expectations. The Superintendent ensures that all aspects of construction are effectively coordinated, meet all specifications and are on schedule. In carrying out you responsibilities, you will utilize open and honest communication with all parties involved with the project.Areas of Responsibility:• 100% complete full project responsibility for scheduling, coordination, and field commitments.• Ensure that the construction project meets or exceeds the expected quality of the customer.• Ensure that all areas of the construction project are completed according to plans, specifications, submittals, and shop drawings.• Demonstrate and communicate safety procedures, including conduction regular safety meetings and coordination of safety equipment.• Communicate daily with the General Superintendent and the Estimator/Project Manager designated each job.• Maintain costs and budgets on all work performed including any Extra Work Authorizations completed.• Attend weekly Superintendents meetings with the General Superintendent and Estimator/Project manager designated for each job.• Ensure all projected sites are being kept in a clean and organized manner.• Knowledge and understanding of:o Company Policies and Procedureso Company Safety Policies and Procedureso Time management and planning skillso Workforce management skillso Company goals, objectives, and missionsSupervisor: General SuperintendentEstimator/Project Manager (for budgets, costs, and scope of work)Coordination with: Other SuperintendentsSafety DirectorAccounting DepartmentSupervises: ForemenLabor ForemenSubcontractorsField employees
