The Account Manager (“AM”) serves as the primary business contact with our national accounts (several Fortune 500 clients). The AM must consistently provide excellent customer service to accounts, as well as represent the client’s needs and goals within our organization to ensure that we exceed the client’s expectations. The AM’s main goal is to build the relationship with clients and to identify and encourage new business opportunities.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Reports to VP of Sales, providing regular input on account activity.Manages existing national accounts (several Fortune 500 companies)Communicates the client’s goals and represents the client’s interests to the team.Reviews all major deliverables to ensure quality standards and client expectations are metOwns all client sales forecasts and contact renewalsBe aware of opportunities for account growth and new businessCollaborate with marketing, sales, quality assurance and product development to ensure successful launch of solutions for client issues.Manage projects using defined management tools and communication vehicles. Education/Experience: A bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 3 years’ experience of Account Management or Sales.Strong PC skills, including MS Office (especially EXCEL), MS Outlook and Internet browsersDemonstrated ability to manage multiple projectsExcellent written and verbal communications skillsHigh level of initiative and work well in team environmentSome travel required
