Reports to: Regional Sales ManagerPurpose of Position: The AquaGuard Sales Manager is responsible for sales of Cenorin’s AquaGuard product line. Developing new customer relationships, current customer retention, and offering superior post sales training, support, and service are accountabilities of this position.Principal Responsibilities and Accountabilities:Qualify customers such as hospitals, medical centers, and alternate care facilities for potential business opportunities.Identify key influencers and decision makers at the aforementioned facilities.Conduct presentations with select individuals and groups of individuals discussing key benefits of our products with the goal of persuading them to evaluate and purchase.Work with distributor reps and individually in departments within the facilities to implement usage of the products.Travel throughout the territory working with distributor sales representatives as well as working alone to call on current and potential customers.Utilize an effective sales process, presentation skills, and customer follow-up to change clinical behavior.Conduct distributor and sales rep training on customer sites and in the field.Manage customer situations to ensure satisfaction.Manage multiple sales with effective time and territory management skills.Submit new market and product ideas for consideration.Build a knowledge base of competition.Maintain and prepare customer and sales reports as required. Support sales forecasting and budget processes.Promote the company and products in a professional and ethical manner.Support a performance-based company culture that is rewarding for the employee and the company in an atmosphere of open communication and accountability.Core Competencies needed for Position:4+ years of successful sales of disposable medical devices to healthcare institutions as mentioned above.Ability to work with and manage individual distributor sales organizations.Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.Proficient at Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business or closely related field.Leadership, problem solving and decision making ability needed for the Position:The AquaGuard Sales Manager must be able to work well in a fast-paced sales/service environment, meet deadlines, and work without supervision. Solid problem solving skills and an ability to use creativity and discretion when dealing with all levels of customers and the public are required.
