DescriptionSterling Organization, a vertically integrated private equity real estate firm is seeking a skilled and reliable Accounts Payable Clerk to assist the Accounts Payable Manager in day to day A/P functions and other duties as assigned.Our company's national platform is focused on investing in value-add retail real estate assets and stabilized/core grocery-anchored shopping centers in major markets across the United States on behalf of Sterling’s principals in partnership with the highest quality institutional investors.Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities Review and enter vendor invoices for payment Process payables and payments timely and accurately Issue 1099’s at the end of each calendar year Establish and maintain positive and cooperative internal and external relationships Work with property managers and other team members to resolve issues that may arise Reconcile vendor statements monthly Contact vendors for missing invoices Perform other related tasks to support accounts payable processing Assist with other accounting department needs as necessary Work on special projects as neededKey CompetenciesAbility to plan and organize for optimal time managementHigh attention to detailGood communication skillsStrong work ethic and a desire to achieve resultsExperience1 or more years in high volume accounts payable positionExcel experience is desirable Knowledge of Yardi accounting software a plus
