This position provides day-to-day alternative investment accounting for firm clients. Responsibilities consist primarily of recording daily accounting activities across multiple entities. This position will require regular interaction with clients and team members.Summary of essential job functions:Daily maintenance of client accounting recordsPreparation and/or review of cash reportingPreparation of payments via wire/checkMonthly or quarterly client report preparationProcessing accounts payable invoicesProcessing payroll using a third party vendorPreparation of account receivable invoicesAssistance with the preparation of financial statements and related work-papersCompletion of special projects at direction of client and/or managementMinimum requirementsBachelor’s degree in Accounting/ Finance1+ years accounting experience preferredPublic accounting or alternative investment experience preferredAbilities requiredDemonstrated attention to detail and accuracyStrong multi-tasking and organizational skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work as a strong team member as well as an independent contributor
